How we make our own Unique Engraved Dog Tags

Thanks for visiting Waggle, we have a range of unique, engraved dog tags. All of our designs are completely unique, you literally can't get them anywhere else, other than our Etsy store (https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/WaggleCo). 

We made Waggle because we didn't like any of the dog tags that were available to us, many of them were very basic with designs you see everywhere. We wanted a dog tag that was as unique as our dog! 

Coming up with our own designs was a fairly difficult process because we didnt know what would sell well or the type of audience that might be interested in us. So we did some market research and created some mockups to see what people liked. 

How we made our unique dog tag designs

Our designs are made to get people to say "yep, that's my dog!", so having these little sayings or phrases catches people's eye and gets them to relate to the unique dog tags. 

Luckily for us, Ella is a graphic designer and knows a lot about designing products from her other business Quinns Pins, where she makes enamel pin badges. The manufactoring process is pretty similar. 

We also already had a Cricut, which has the abiliity to engrave, among other things, metals. This means when we get an order, we can easily engrave it at our home studio in Rochester, Kent.
